The process for sharing information with the public seems to be getting more inclusive over time. Each item on the agenda had a detailed Action Item Printout that included relevant information the that particular subject.
Action Items included:
Approval of amendments to the Independent Contract Services Agreement for for both contract Pharmacist and contract M.D. to include effective start date for these services.
Approval of continuation of the La Plata County clean syringe access program.
Approval of Intergovernmental Agreements with San Juan, Delores, and Archuleta Counties for ancillary Public Health services to these counties.
Also discussed and approved were the Posting Job Description, and the Hiring timeline for the position of Director of Public Health.
Also mentioned, but not discussed, were various actions/approvals taken by the La Plata County Board of Commissioners on various (6) policy items presented to the County Commissioners for approval by the Board of Health.
