Great Decisions Discussion Group
Great Decisions begin January 31, 2023 and continues every two weeks for eight sessions at the Durango Public Library.
It’s time to put the Great Decisions 2023 discussion schedule on your calendar and order your 2023 briefing book. We are meeting again in person at the Durango Public Library with the first discussion on January 31st from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and continuing every other Tuesday for eight sessions. Please note that the discussions are in a different order from the chapters in the briefing book.
Janice Sheftel, Katherine Burgess, and Susan McGinness comprise your Great Decisions 2023 steering committee. More information about Great Decisions and the Foreign Policy Association can be found at http://www.fpa.org.

How to Order Books:
To take advantage of our group order for briefing books, please send checks, $25 for each book, made out to “LWVLPC,” and mailed with the form located at the top of the next page no later than December 31st to: Susan McGinness 756 E. 6th Ave, Durango, CO 81301.
We have a limited number of books. Upon notification from Susan in early January, books will be available at the Durango Public Library Reference Desk in the priority of orders received. You may contact Susan about books at mcginnessss@gmail.com.
You may also purchase briefing books from FPA for $35 plus postage from the Foreign Policy Association.

A major objective of the LWV La Plata League is to grow our partnership with the faculty and students of the Fort Lewis College Political Science Department.
